Sean Trodden
Sean Trodden (Head Coach) first boxed for The Venture ABC in 1987 and has been here ever since! He’s a L3Coach (Senior) Amateur Coach and also a Professional License Holder. Sean and his team are continuing the legacy that his father Dennis left behind.
Neil Oxton
Neil Oxton is also a Level 2 Coach. ‘Oxo’ as he’s known, started coaching in 2007 at Liverpool’s Golden Gloves ABC before making the switch to The Venture ABC. Neil is a very proficient pad man.
Robbie Girven
Robbie Girven won the Ventures first ever National Title, the Junior ABA Championships way back in 1985 at Wembley. Robbie boxed 76 times and went on to box internationally. Robbie is now back where it all began, coaching at The Venture ABC as a Level 2 Coach.
Suraj Samra
Another one of our club's ex boxers, Suraj has boxed as a Schoolboy, Junior and Senior moving into the Open Classes. His move into coaching, given his vast experience, has been warmly embraced by the club.
Craig Pinnington
Craig Pinnington is in charge of our Development Group, the boxers selected to be promoted from our junior/beginners class. Craig coaches skills on the first stage of our squad sessions, developing and honing young boxers first taste of the competitive boxing.
